Vacuum/suction trucks are used to vacuum up and blow solid, semi-solid, dry or liquid materials. They can also be deployed for hazardous substances
Our vacuum trucks, controlled using the pressure present in the tank, allow for quick and efficient removal of even the toughest of waste from hard to reach places or hazardous areas. Vehicles are equipped with storage barrels from 8 m3 to 12 m3 and have the suction capacity of up to 8,100 m3/h.
This enormous suction power and radius of operation of up to 300 m even allow for the extraction of pasty substances. The extracted material may be removed by blowing, overturning or placed directly in big bags.
The use of vacuum trucks allows us to remove any material, even from hard to reach places.
Many years of experience in performing services for the energy sector allows us to offer a range of solutions. We have the know-how in cleaning the heating surfaces of boilers, removing ash from the plenum space and ducts, cleaning condensers, settlers, electrostatic precipitators, coal bunkers and vacuuming the outer surface of boilers.
Our company provides specialized services to the energy industry
BUCHEN's range of services extends to all installation areas in power plants and waste incineration as well as boiler plants of chemical, aliment and other industrial firms
Spent catalysts must be removed from reactors. One of the methods to empty the reactor is vacuum unloading by using high-performance vacuum devices, including devices with nitrogen recirculation. We provide reactor loading services both using sock loading and dense loading. All work is performed in accordance with safety standards, also in inert atmosphere(nitrogen).
Depending on the type of reactor, the material can be drained by gravity using a discharge device placed on the reactor or drained through the head of the reactor using highperformance suction devices, equipped with an N2 cooling system and recirculation. Spent catalyst is packed in suitable containers and then processed directly on site.
Depending on specifications, we fill the reactors using sock loading or dense loading. In the case of sock loading, the catalyst and inert material are loaded in a way that ensures protection of the material through a special hose. In the case of dense loading, the rotation system causes an even loading of the catalyst in the reactor. The high density of the catalyst obtained this way prevents the formation of so-called hot spots.
BUCHEN carries out all works in the reactor in a nitrogen atmosphere. The Life Support System (LSS) is used as a key component of the safety equipment necessary for this purpose
The process of hydrodynamic cleaning and flushing of oil systems is used among others to clean oil systems of turbines.
The performance and reliability of oil systems of machines depends to a large extent on the cleanliness of oil and the installation. The removal of contaminants such as oil aging products, rust and metal filings directly contributes to a decrease in the wear of bearings, gears and seals and consequently to a reduction in the costs of repairs and improvement in work safety.
Hydrodynamic cleaning and flushing of an oil system makes it possible to obtain the cleanliness class of the oil and installation compliant with guidelines of the system being cleaned.
The cleaning process is divided into three stages:
Hydrodynamic cleaning of internal surfaces of the oil system with a high-pressure water jet.
A proper combination of water pressure and high-pressure cleaning accessories makes it possible to loosen all sludge, resins, rust, corrosion products and other contaminants, including those connected to assembly (welding slag, filler metal drops, filings left after polishing). The entire internal surface of the oil system, i. e. all pipes, tanks, bearing crankcases, radiators, filter housings, etc. is cleaned. A clean and dried pipe is secured against corrosion until its assembly with an oil mist sprayed across its entire length. This prevents the corrosion process from starting.
Flushing of an oil system with oil intended for operation along with its simultaneous filtration.
In order to remove all contaminants a forced turbulent flow of oil through the system is used.Full-flow flushing is carried out using a high-performance pumping and flirting unit. The so-calledbypasses are made in front of bearings and servo-motors.During flushing oil flows through absolute filters. Oil cleanliness class is checked at this time inorder to determine the effectiveness of the process. Tests are performed on site using automaticparticle counters, integrated in the configuration of the pumping and filtering system. Theflushing process is considered complete when all the defined criteria (cleanliness class and thelack of particles above a specified size in various areas of the oil system) are met.
Additional bypass filtering of oil after assembly of the system, both before and during its start-up.
Final cleaning of the system is carried out using oil pumps of the machine with a simultaneously working pumping and filtering unit connected via a bypass to the main oil tank. The purpose of this process is to remove after-assembly contaminants from the oil system. When the defined oil cleanliness is obtained in the entire oil system, the machine is ready for use.
The process of hydrodynamic cleaning and flushing of oil systems is used among others to clean oil systems of turbines.
BUCHEN uses a variety of automated cleaning processes for enclosed tanks, depending on the type and size of the tank, as well as the nature of the residue to be removed. This helps us to avoid using hazardous materials associated with manual cleaning. The tank cleaning device has a modular design and is installed in containers - allowing for quick transport to the place of use.
The tank cleaning system is based on a modular design. The main components of the system include suction and discharge modules as well as flushing and rotary nozzles, so-called jet washers. All elements are protected against explosion.
Jet washers are installed using tubular guides of the previously disassembled support of the tank's roof. A special pipeline system with proven high-speed connections, as well as efficient filter packs supportthe cleaning method. Thanks to the closed cleaning process, the emission of hydrocarbons is greatly reduced, in contrast to the traditional, manual cleaning of tanks.
Tanks can also be cleaned using a special water Manway Cannon. It generates a stream of water at arange of up to 40 m. The water cannon's working nozzle is controlled hydraulically and moves in two directions (horizontally and vertically) in the range above 1800. This system allows for cleaning the entire inner space of the tank, directing the washings toward the outlet ports. The use of a video camera with a spotlight on the water cannon allows for continuous remote monitoring of the cleaning process from the control station and its backup file (video file or image files).
Advantages of using the system:
BUCHEN provides tank cleaning services using closed, lowemissionsystems that offer high product recovery rates
Dewatering technologies
BUCHEN has specialized technologies for sludge dewatering.
In this respect, we use the following equipment:
The oil sludge separation is a specialised service predominantly employed in the petrochemical industry
Chamber filter presses are available in different versions and sizes. Their filter surface ranges from 60 to 350 m2, the volume of the chamber is from 0.6 m3 to 5 m3, and the filter cake may be extracted using a forklift or a conveyor belt.
Most centrifugal separators have explosion protection. BUCHEN also features floating suction excavators, which pump the sludge using an armored pump.
BUCHEN specialises in cleaning all types of heating surface using mechanical technology and material-friendly tools.
